ABOUT US
For more than 15 years, Lifestyle Studios and Healthy U Education have worked alongside local schools and the wider community.
We are a small, independent community interest company with a strong commitment to local young people. We believe every young person deserves equal opportunities, whatever challenges or circumstances they may face.
Our educational provision is shaped around each learner. We work closely with schools and parents or carers to understand individual needs and help every student make the most of their time with us. Our aim is to help young people build confidence, develop their skills and prepare for further education, training or employment.
We believe education should support more than academic achievement. Alongside working towards qualifications, learners can develop personally and professionally, make informed healthy lifestyle choices, and build positive ways to manage their emotions and behaviour.
With small class sizes, learners receive the time and support they need to succeed. As part of a thriving, working business, students also experience a real-world environment and see how a business operates day to day, with staff and members of the public using the facilities.

KARL THOMAS
DIRECTOR
Karl is passionate about helping every young person access education and reach their potential, whatever their abilities or circumstances. I support our staff to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where learning is shaped around each student. Alongside working towards qualifications, we help learners build confidence, develop practical and personal skills, and prepare for their next steps in further education, training or employment.
HAYLEY GALASSO
HAIR & BEAUTY LEAD
Hayley brings 26 years of hairdressing experience to her role as Hair & Beauty Tutor. She enjoys helping students develop practical skills, express their creativity and grow in confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment. I support students as they learn techniques, build their understanding of the industry and work towards their next steps. My aim is to make learning enjoyable and supportive, so every student can recognise their potential.
ASHLEE COOLEY
KINGS TRUST LEAD
Ash brings six years’ experience in education and loves helping students develop their skills, grow in confidence and recognise their potential. As a mentor on The King’s Trust programme, I support students with their learning and help them build confidence in Functional Skills English and Maths. I want every student to feel encouraged, capable and proud of their progress.

Lifestyle Studios Education is based within Healthy U Ladies Gym, a community-focused, women-only gym located in Bennetts End, Hemel Hempstead.
Healthy U is more than just a gym. It is a welcoming, friendly and supportive space that promotes health, fitness, wellbeing and personal development. With a strong focus on community, the gym encourages individuals to build confidence, improve their physical and mental wellbeing and feel part of a positive environment.
Our education provision benefits from this unique setting, giving young people access to practical learning opportunities and a supportive environment outside of a traditional school setting.
